We are having a problem with the r.v. There are two batteries One starts the motor the other runs all of the appliances. The engine runs fine, the coach battery is completely dead. We looked and there is no place to add water, it is sealed. So we tried to charge it by using the built in generator, and it remained dead. Now we are running the engine, and hopping this will work. If it only charges a little, the next thing will be to drive for an hour. If still not cured, then we need new batteries. I am blogging by the iPad, so it is not as fancy as usual.

We went to visit Diane yesterday. She has 3 new little kittens.
And:
We attended our block party tonight, with fireworks and burgers and hot dogs. A nice tradition.
Claudia continues with her weekly p.t. therapy. I am doing my back exercises when comfortable. No travel plans in the near future. My latest blood tests were very good. No change in the usual aches and pains.
We did a walk with the Sierra club on Wednesday, then had great outdoor lunch by the harbor.

This is a view of our front yard.
The weather has been really disappointing so far. Hopefully summer will begin without waiting for spring.
Claudia's shoulder is very frustrating. She wants to be further along than she is. She has been to p.t. once and will go again this week. Too much exercise, too much pain. Not enough exercise, maybe the function of the shoulder might be delayed. Also, the other shoulder is really bothering her now. Unfortunately, it is a very slow recovering from rotator cuff surgery.
Some of my 3 dozen cactus pots.
Claudia got another Koi to put in the pond, here she is pouring him in.
And a crayfish.

Yes, I have not blogged this month. The shoulder patient is much better. She is sneaking her arm out of sling. Not a patient person.
The weather has remained bad. We continued to have rain until last week, now we are in the June gloom.
Nickki is having minor surgery tomorrow to have some bumps removed.

Nickki's fan club stopped by the
Other day. They saw him when he was hit. Twice before they came by to see him. This time the three girls came by to give nickki a sweater one of them had knitted for him. So sweet! As soon as they left Nickki ripped up the sweater like any other chew toy.
I'm watching the giants blow another game. Glad we went yesterday.

As you can see, it continues to rain in spite of the "rainy season" being over. No energy at all in this weather.
We have a pet Blue Jay that we have been feeding for the third year. He and his S.O. have a nest in a really dense bush. He comes when we put out his food, then he takes some back to feed his lady.
If there is no food on the deck rail where we feed him, he sits on the power line and yells to us. Even Claudia has started to feed him. Speaking of which she really feels terrible, despite the time from her surgery. I picked up a prescription for er ynp--- Sorry, Kayak just walked across the key board. The shoulder is doing well. She is getting good range of motion from her exercises. But, she still feels exhauster all of the time.
But it is not always easy for the bird. Here is a rodent stealing his food. (I almost said "stealing his nuts")
